Service Districts
At the request of the qualified electors, the City has created several special financing districts to fund certain programs benefiting the properties within the district.
These programs include:
- community service programs
- parks maintenance
- public landscape maintenance
- street lighting operations
- streets and drainage maintenance
Funding for the programs is generated from parcel charges, special assessments or special taxes paid by property owners and collected as part of the annual County of Riverside property tax bills. Funds collected for each district and program are restricted and can only be used within that district and for that program.
Detailed information on each District, the services it funds, the location of the improvements, the properties funding and receiving the services, and the parcel charges can be found on the Special Districts Report page.
Boundary Maps, the Rate and Method of Apportionment, and the Annual Report for each CFD can be found on the Special Districts Report page.
