SERVICE S

Parks and Community Services conducted over 1,800 classes throughout 2021, with nearly
800 courses at the Senior Community Center.

Hundreds of residents of all ages attended the quarterly Beautify MoVal Community Days of
Service to volunteer their time and clean Moreno Valley parks throughout the City.

The City teamed up with NBA superstar Kawhi Leonard to unveil the Kawhi Leonard Basketball
Court at Weston Park.

The Dr. Carla J. Thornton Teen SPOT opened, offering a fun and unique space for Moreno
Valley teens to access the internet, get homework help, and socialize.
