this plan, all 34 parks in Moreno Valley will receive park upgrades to include basketball/sport court
       resurfacing, playground replacement, restroom renovations and additions, parking lot resurfacing,
       drinking fountain replacement, and more. We also began work on the $4.4 million expansion of the
       Moreno Valley Senior Center which is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2025. Lastly, the
       f      of        m          completed,
       repairing 190 miles of road across Moreno Valley.


       The Council’s commitment to economic development and job creation spurred the opening
       of new retailers, restaurants, and hospitality establishments, as well as increases in educational
       attainment and improved employment opportunities.


       The grand opening of Kaiser Permanente’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center, a project achieved
       through a comprehensive partnership between private and public stakeholders, now provides for
       increased access to healthcare services, not only to Moreno Valley, but to our entire region.

       Construction progressed on Moreno Beach Drive Bridge Project, replacing the existing two-lane
       bridge with a new seven-lane bridge, and implementing improvements which will enable better
       mobility and enhanced safety.

       Thousands of residents and visitors celebrated Moreno Valley’s rich and varied cultures at holiday
       events and participated in Community Days of Service and Beautify MoVal events, which enhanced
       our community’s spirit of volunteerism, promoted physical activity, and fostered a love of nature.
       Accomplishments like these are proof positive that our community is moving full speed ahead
       to achieve the Council’s vision for a prosperous and economically vibrant City.  Moreno Valley is
       home to more than 214,000 residents who value safe neighborhoods, a diverse business climate,
       good infrastructure and services for children and adults. The following is an overview of the efforts
       undertaken to realize our collective vision for Moreno Valley’s bright future.
