Veteran's Commission

The Veterans Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the city council on matters related to veterans, including programs, services, and community engagement. The commission provides recommendations on veteran-focused initiatives, funding opportunities, partnerships, and the use of City resources to support veterans. It also serves as a forum for public input on veteran related issues and acts as a liaison between the City Council summarizing its activities

Notice on Public Participation Members of the public who wish to submit written comments to the Veterans Commission may do so by emailing Sylviag@moval.org. Staff will forward all correspondence to the Veterans Commission and provide hard copies to each Commissioner at the next regularly scheduled meeting. Any correspondence received after 3 p.m. on the same day of a Veterans Commission meeting may be distributed at the subsequent meeting.
