Moreno Valley Welcomes New Mall Vaccination Site
For immediate release: March 5, 2021
Moreno Valley City leaders welcome the decision by Riverside County to open a mass-vaccination site at the Sears building at the Moreno Valley Mall. Shots will begin Monday, March 8. Go to www.rivcoph.org/COVID-19-Vaccine-with-Registration to schedule an appointment. Vaccinations are currently being given to those eligible under Phase 1, Tiers 1A and 1B, including residents 65 and older.
"We have been working with the County for some time, advocating for a Moreno Valley mass-vaccination site and securing an effective location," said Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley. "Locating a site in Riverside County's second-largest City will help speed up the vaccination process and improve safety countywide, and I urge all adults to get vaccinated as soon as you qualify for a shot."
